Casner & Edwards’ Renee Inomata Receives 2023 AALAM Community Service Award

BOSTON, MA, December 11, 2023 Casner & Edwards announces attorney Renee Inomata received the 2023 Community Service Award from the Asian American Lawyers Association of Massachusetts (AALAM). This award, which recognizes an individual who tirelessly supports the community at large, was presented at the 38th Anniversary Celebration of the Harry H. At Casner & Edwards, Inomata focuses her practice on Employment Law where she advises companies and executives on a wide range of high-level, complex employment-related matters, and solves sensitive employment situations with an understanding of the client’s culture, risk adversity and business goals.

In addition to her law practice, Inomata is deeply involved in community service. She serves on the Executive Committee, Grants Committee and Ad Hoc Development Committee, and is a Trustee of the Boston Bar Foundation; and on the Advisory Committee for the Women of Color Attorneys Leadership Forum at the Boston Bar Association. In addition, Inomata serves as co-chair of the firm’s Women’s Initiative and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee.

In February 2023, Inomata was named to Get Konnected!’s list of Boston’s 50 Most Influential Asian-American Pacific Islanders (AAPI). The inaugural list highlights AAPI leaders who are contributing to the economic, civic, cultural and social fabric of Boston and the Commonwealth. Inomata has also been honored for multiple years as a SuperLawyer® by ThomsonReuters and included in their Top 50 Massachusetts Women Lawyers. She has been recognized by BestLawyers®; by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as a “Go To Employment Lawyer” and “Top Women of Law;” by Boston Magazine as a “Top Lawyer” in Massachusetts; and by Profiles in Diversity Journal as a "Women to Watch.”

About the Harry H. Dow Memorial Legal Assistance Fund (Dow Fund)
