Boston, MA, September 8, 2023 – Casner & Edwards LLP announces that Partner Renee Inomata will begin her third year of a six-year term serving as a Trustee of the Boston Bar Foundation (BBF), the charitable arm of the Boston Bar Association (BBA). In collaboration with fellow Trustees, Inomata helps set BBF priorities, make major financial decisions and provide crucial oversight of charitable projects, organizations and initiatives supported by the BBF’s robust granting program. Inomata is an active member of the BBA and the Boston business and legal communities. She is a member of the BBA’s Society of Fellows and is a frequent speaker at BBA educational events. Inomata sits on the Executive Committee and Grants Committee and chairs its Nominating Committee. She also serves on the Advisory Committee for the Women of Color Attorneys Leadership Forum. In the past, Inomata served as a member of the Boston Bar Council, Women’s Leadership and Advancement Forum Advisory Committee, Beacon Awards Selection Committee, Boston Bar Journal Board of Editors, and was a member of the organizing committee for the BBA’s Employment Law Conference.

At Casner & Edwards, Inomata focuses her practice on Employment Law where she helps companies and executives navigate complex employment policies so they can successfully achieve their employment goals and mitigate risks associated with employment issues. She serves on the firm’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) and Women’s Initiative committees. Inomata has been named a Massachusetts Super Lawyer for 15 years and has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America for a decade. She has also been awarded by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as a “Go To Employment Lawyer” and “Top Women of Law,” and by Boston Magazine as a "Top Lawyer." In 2023, she was named to Get Konnected!’s list of Boston’s 50 Most Influential Asian-American Pacific Islanders (AAPI).
