On behalf of condominium unit owners, Christopher Maffucci served a comprehensive, detailed demand letter pursuant to G.L. c. 93A, §§ 2 and 9 on the developer of the units. The owners claimed that the units had numerous construction defects. As a result of Chris's substantial work in compiling the factual bases for the claims and the costs of repair, some of which required consultation with contractors and engineers, and his clear presentation of that material in the multi-page demand letter, the developer agreed to pay an amount in the six figures, covering 100% of the cost of repairs and the owners' "aggravation" costs.
