Casner & Edwards Attorney David Koha Speaks at Bankruptcy Bench Meets Bar Conference


Casner & Edwards’ David Koha, an associate in the firm’s Bankruptcy & Restructuring and Litigation practices, spoke at the Boston Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Bench Meets Bar Conference on May 14, 2015.  He joined other bankruptcy practitioners and Judge William C. Hillman on a panel covering recent developments in the law of exemptions. The panel discussed the interplay between state and federal exemption statutes, as well as issues concerning a debtor’s claim of exemption in property recovered by a bankruptcy trustee through avoidance of a tax lien.
 
Koha focuses his practice on business and consumer bankruptcy law and business litigation. He has experience in all types of bankruptcy cases, including representing trustees, debtors, creditors, and defendants in fraudulent transfer and preference litigation.
