For the second consecutive year, Peter I. Dunn, a partner in Casner & Edwards’ Business & Corporate Group, will serve as chair at the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education’s (MCLE) “Representing Micro Brewers” Program on April 24, 2018 from 2:00-5:00 p.m.
The MCLE program will focus on the business of craft brewing in Massachusetts, and how a multi-disciplinary team of advisors is essential to helping these businesses achieve their goals. Specifically, Dunn and fellow panelists will cover:
- Organizing the craft brewer's business, including incorporation/organization, branding, shareholder agreements, capitalizing the business, and securities concerns
- Alcohol licensing in Massachusetts
- Update of regulations in Massachusetts
- Lending to craft brewers
- Inside views from craft brewers
Dunn works with family businesses, emerging companies and start-ups in a variety of industries He practices in the areas of corporate and securities law, commercial finance, and mergers and acquisitions.
