Goldberg specializes in the areas of business bankruptcy, financial restructuring and business transactions as well as commercial real estate transactions. In his over 25 years of practice, Goldberg has represented a broad spectrum of clients in insolvency matters, including debtors, creditors’ committees, trustees, assignees, landlords, secured and unsecured creditors, and investors. His clients cut across a wide range of industry types, including high-tech and biomedical device companies, medical practice groups, and nonprofit institutions. He has also served as counsel to purchasers and sellers of industrial, office and multifamily real estate, with a particular expertise in real estate financing. He is also a frequent lecturer on bankruptcy topics, particularly on the impact of bankruptcy issues on real estate transactions.
