Goldberg specializes in the areas of business bankruptcy, financial restructuring and business transactions as well as commercial real estate transactions. With over 25 years of practice, Goldberg has represented a broad spectrum of clients in insolvency matters, including debtors, creditors’ committees, trustees, assignees, landlords, secured and unsecured creditors and investors. His clients cut across a wide range of industry types, including high-tech and biomedical device companies, medical practice groups, long-term care facilities and nonprofit institutions. He has served as counsel to purchasers and sellers of industrial, office and multifamily real estate. He is also a frequent lecturer on bankruptcy topics, particularly on the impact of bankruptcy issues on real estate transactions.
Morrier is Casner & Edwards’ Managing Partner and Management Committee Chair. He has extensive experience in all aspects of bankruptcy and commercial law, including litigation in federal and state courts and structuring and documenting complex transactions. He represents debtors, secured and unsecured creditors, executives, insurers, landlords, estate professionals, and other parties in bankruptcy proceedings and out of court restructurings, workouts and other insolvency matters. He is a frequent author and teacher on business insolvency topics and a member of the Boston and Massachusetts Bar Associations, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Turnaround Management Association.
