Von Kohorn is a partner at Casner & Edwards and a member of the firm’s Management Committee. Her practice focuses on estate planning, estate and trust administration, charitable giving, and advising exempt organizations. She serves as a trusted advisor to generations of families and forms an integral part of their planning for the future and for their family legacy.
An Accredited Estate Planner® (AEP®) designee by National Association of Estate Planners and Councils (NAEPC), Von Kohorn advises individual clients and generations of families with respect to estate planning, including estate and gift taxes, probate law, estate and trust administration, inter-generational planning, planning with digital assets, cryptocurrency, and philanthropy. She also serves as trustee of numerous trusts, and works extensively on the investment, tax, and legal aspects of trusts, as well as with the varied interests of trust beneficiaries. Von Kohorn counsels trustees and exempt organizations on issues pertaining to tax exemption, fiduciary responsibilities, and charitable trust law. She serves on the graduate board of the Radcliffe Pitches, and as treasurer and board member of Musica Sacra, Cambridge, Massachusetts.
