Julie R. Bryan, a partner in Casner & Edwards’ Litigation Group, has been selected as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA). The LCA is a trial lawyer honorary society composed of less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only. Fellows are selected based upon excellence and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels, and superior ethical reputation.
Bryan is a business litigator, mediator and counselor with experience representing clients in a variety of disputes in areas ranging from probate disputes, construction, employment protection, business torts, trademark and trade dress infringement, patent infringement, manufacturing contracts, government contracts, bankruptcy creditors' rights, real estate, as well as insurance and reinsurance. She regularly advises clients regarding their intellectual property rights, employer/employee rights, potential liability with regard to claims from competitors or creditors, compliance issues, ethics, governance issues and obligations under a variety of contracts in numerous industries. Julie also has experience conducting internal investigations in schools and companies with regard to sexual harassment claims, Title IX compliance, and a variety of workplace disputes. Bryan is also a skilled trial attorney with experience in both state and federal courts, representing clients from the initiation of a case through trial and appeal. She is a trained mediator and has extensive experience with alternative methods of dispute resolution.
