Boston law firm Casner & Edwards announces that Michael A. Bednarz has joined the company as an associate. Bednarz concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation, including business, employment and real estate disputes.
Bednarz represents businesses and their owners in pursuing and defending claims related to contracts, business torts, corporate governance issues, unfair and deceptive trade practices and the rights of shareholders. He also handles both management and plaintiff-side representation of employment matters, including wage and hour violations, discrimination, retaliation, restrictive covenants and independent contractor misclassification.

Prior to joining Casner & Edwards, Bednarz was an associate at a Boston law firm where he practiced commercial litigation. Bednarz earned his J.D. (cum laude) from Suffolk University Law School, where he was a note editor for the Suffolk University Law Review. While in law school, he interned with the Massachusetts Securities Division. He is a member of the Boston and Massachusetts Bars and permitted to practice before the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
