Michael Bednarz, an associate at Casner & Edwards, LLP, concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation, including business, employment and real estate disputes. Mike regularly appears in trial courts throughout Massachusetts, including the Business Litigation Session. He represents large and small businesses in diverse industries. Mike’s litigation practice also includes representing clients in arbitrations and mediations.
Mike represents businesses and their owners in pursuing and defending claims related to contracts, business torts, corporate governance issues, unfair and deceptive trade practices and the rights of shareholders. Mike also handles both management and plaintiff-side representation of employment matters, including wage and hour violations, discrimination, retaliation, restrictive covenants and independent contractor misclassification.
Prior to joining Casner & Edwards, Mike was an associate with Berluti McLaughlin & Kutchin, LLP. While in law school, he served as a note editor on the Suffolk University Law Review and interned with the Massachusetts Securities Division, Enforcement Department.
