Julie R. Bryan is a business litigation attorney with experience representing clients in a variety of matters ranging from construction disputes, employment disputes, business torts, trademark protection and litigation, trade secret litigation, patent infringement litigation, government contract disputes, bankruptcy creditors' rights, real estate litigation, as well as insurance and reinsurance litigation. She regularly advises clients regarding their intellectual property rights, employer/employee rights, potential liability with regard to claims from competitors or creditors, compliance issues, ethics, governance issues and obligations under a variety of contracts in numerous industries.
Julie also has experience analyzing and drafting employment contracts and non-compete agreements in a variety of contexts. Julie has extensive courtroom experience in both state and federal courts. She also has experience with successful settlement negotiations and alternative methods of resolution, including mediation and arbitration.
Julie lives in Wellesley, Massachusetts with her husband and two children.
Julie is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, and in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the First Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
Julie received her Juris Doctor from the Law School at the University of Chicago where she was the Symposium Editor of the University of Chicago Roundtable interdisciplinary journal, co-chair of the Women's Mentoring Program, and the recipient of the Ann Watson Barber Outstanding Service Award for Exceptional Contributions to the Quality of Life at the Law School. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Distinction in the Major from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
