Settlement on behalf of manufacturer of customized goods

Christopher Maffucci filed a breach of contract action for a manufacturer who had a multi-year contract to manufacture goods specific to the customer’s design. Less than one year into the contract, the customer repudiated the contract. The goods were unique to the customer’s use and could not be resold. Chris’s work convinced the customer that, after an initial offer of slightly more than nuisance value, its potential liability was considerably higher. The matter settled for six figures.
