Amy Lyn Blake is a partner in the Family and Probate Law
Group. Her practice encompasses all aspects
of matrimonial and domestic relations
litigation including divorce, custody,
prenuptial agreements, tax, paternity,
guardianship, same-sex couple dissolution
and will contests. Ms. Blake handles high
conflict disputes with an emphasis on
business valuation, trusts and inherited
assets and complex custody disputes. Many
judges and attorneys of the family law bar have sought
out her services in sensitive matrimonial
cases. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and serves on their Board of Managers and Board of Examiners.
Ms. Blake has been named a Super Lawyer® in Boston Magazine, an honor awarded to less than 5% of attorneys in Massachusetts, and voted one of the top 50 female attorneys in Massachusetts. Ms Blake has also been named as one of the Best Lawyers in America®. Ms. Blake often serves as a mediator/arbitrator on a wide range of issues including the validity of prenuptial agreements, asset division, child support and alimony and personal property disputes. In addition, Ms. Blake has been appointed as an attorney for children and guardian ad litem in high conflict custody matters by a wide variety of judges in the Probate and Family Court.
Ms. Blake was formerly a partner of White,
Inker, Aronson, P.C., where she concentrated
her practice in matrimonial and family
law. Prior to that, Ms. Blake was an Assistant
District Attorney and a Victim’s
Advocate with the Middlesex County District
Attorney’s office.
Ms. Blake is a frequent lecturer and program
chair of many MCLE programs on a wide
range of family law issues. She is a guest
lecturer at Suffolk University Law School
and its advanced legal studies program.
She is also a member of the Senior Partners
for Justice.
Ms. Blake is admitted to practice before
the U. S. Supreme Court, the U. S. District
Court of Massachusetts, and the courts
of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Ms. Blake received her B.A. degree from
the University of Rochester and her J.D.
cum laude from New England School of Law
where she received the Amos L. Taylor
Award for excellence in achievement and
the New England Scholar Award.
